Liver Cleansing

An optional liver flush may be done to encourage the liver to dump bile into the body for targeted elimination. This gives the body a fresh start in producing new bile which then helps it to more efficiently break down fats.

It is recommended to simultaneously cleanse your kidneys while following a parasite cleanse to prepare for your liver cleanse. At optimal function your kidneys will be able to eliminate any undesirable substances incidentally absorbed from the intestine as the bile is being excreted. Ensuring that parasites are not present will help the bile ducts be freed of large blockages. Both these preparations will enable a more efficient cleansing and help make the experience easier.

Dr. Hulda Clark's book "The Cure For All Diseases" has a program outlined to cleanse for parasites. Para Max, by Advanced Naturals is a similar program with all the main ingredients (black walnut hull tincture, wormwood and fresh ground cloves). This process will take two weeks to one month to complete and has complete outlined instructions.

To cleanse and strengthen your kidneys for two weeks to a month before you begin the detoxification process, you may make and drink fresh parsley and ginger tea as well as cranberry juice for your kidneys. Juice fresh parsley, or boil, strain and drink it. Grate or chop and beat fresh ginger root, boil, strain and drink it. Drink one of each daily. You may make extra and save in the refrigerator.

Consider choosing a day to cleanse when you donít have to do anything the next day so you can plan to rest. Discontinue taking any medications, vitamins or cleansing herbs that you can do without the day before.

Eat only fresh raw fruits and vegetables without any fat before 2:00 pm Do not eat or drink after 2:00.

Prepare your salt water drinks for later consumption. Mix 4 tablespoons of Epsom salt to 3 cups of water in a jar and refrigerate.

  • At 6:00 drink 3/4 a cup of salt water.
  • At 8:00 drink 3/4 a cup of salt water.
  • At 9:45 prepare olive oil drink and get ready for bed.
  • At 10:00 drink 1/2 cup of olive oil mixed with 3/4 cup of fresh grapefruit juice.

Optional cayenne pepper and garlic may be added to oil and juice.

If you need to go to the bathroom one more time, do it quickly and return to bed.
Lie down on your right side for at least 20 minutes and sleep.

The next morning when you awake (not before 6:00 am) drink 3/4 a cup of salt water mix, go back to sleep for 2 hours if you can and then finish with 3/4 a cup more of the salt water mix.

This completes the program and should help you dispel unwanted stones from your liver and gallbladder. Look for them, they will be pea green and tan in your morning movements.

Two hours after your last drink you may start with juice then eat fresh fruit. Normal consumption considering light foods may follow.

You may repeat cleanse every month until approximately 2000 stones are dispelled. Do not do this regimen while you are ill.

I enjoy more detailed instructions and information from the book The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush by Andreas Moritz. This book is available here in Eugene from Evergreen Nutrition.
